Het is weer bijna schooltijd voor de honden van Den Haag: de volgende gehoorzaamheid cyclus van OhMyDog begint weer op woensdag 15 september.

De cyclus bestaat uit tien lessen, waaronder een (Engelstalige) theorie avond.
Tijdens de gehoorzaamheidscursus leren we uw hond vaardigheden aan die nuttig zijn in zijn/haar leven als huishond, zoals verleidingen weerstaan en gefocust blijven. We leren dus niet simpelweg trucjes aan. Ons doel is ook niet om een hond op te voeden die zich uit angst of dwang naar uw wil buigt.
Als u graag een ‘quick fix’ wilt zijn we waarschijnlijk niet de school voor u. Als u een intelligente benadering van hondengedrag wilt, die zich richt op het versterken van de band tussen u en uw hond, bent u bij ons op de juiste plek.
Daarnaast vinden wij het belangrijk dat zowel u als uw hond het naar jullie zin hebben tijdens de lessen. De lessen vinden plaats in een informele en ontspannen sfeer, zodat u en uw hond altijd met plezier naar de lessen zullen komen.

There will be two cycles of ten lessons: one in Dutch and one fully in English. The theory evening is common to both groups, and will be given in English.
During the Obedience 1 course, we don’t teach your dog rote tricks. We don’t make them blindly obedient soldiers or prisoners of war. We won’t have them submit to your will. We will give them life-skills like resisting temptation, a will to learn, and staying focused even with distractions.
